Born and raised in Miami, Humberto Torres became interested in photography while attending Florida International University. He has photographed extensively in the South Florida region with a strong attention to the Everglades flora, which has been a recurring subject in his pictures. His most recent group exhibitions include The Finish Trick at The Patricia and Philip Frost Art Museum, and Miami Art Museums’ Arte America exhibition. He currently lives and works in Miami, Florida.
